#31daysofdungeoncrawling

I'm an avid gamer.  But, I rarely play video games these days.
When I say I am a gamer, I mean table top gamer.  I love board games.

Oh, you're still here...  I thought that was a done deal!

The inspiration for #31daysofdungeoncrawling is the roguelike genre.  You know, procedurally generated maps, completely randomized drops, brutally difficult, "perma-death" of your character, rare powerful drops that can make or break a run and deep replayability.

Popular examples include FTL (Faster Than Light), Binding of Isaac, Spelunky and Don't Starve - but they all pay homage to Rogue, a 1980 computer game - which pays homage to Dungeons & Dragons from the '70's (just before DND gained satanic-cult status in the pop-culture of 80's parents tropes).

Some day in a not so distant future, I'll release a very DIY, hand-printed tabletop board game... Presumably under the title, Temple of the Rogue.
