Inktober 2016 sparked an impetus towards making art daily - as such, I wanted Inktober 2017 to be a bit of a victory lap, flexing my newfound skills.
Thoughts gathered on 2017's challenge as the seasons changed, but it eventually became clear that I wanted to delve deeper into my "Macabre-Abstract" concept. It was a done deal. Late September 2017, I compiled all of the ideas I'd been hatching and recording. On the spot, I thumb-nailed each piece to setup the challenge for success before it even got out of the gates.
